While manufacturing, machine shop or welding experience would be an asset; we welcome the opportunity to train the right candidate for our team.
Responsibilities and tasks:
To weld using GTAW and GMAW processes on mild steel
Setup welding equipment to suit the requirements of the task
Follow weld sequence based on company standards and procedures
Inspect completed welds to ensure that they meet company standards
Prepare material for assembly, including cutting and preparation of raw materials
Clean and grind welds
Able to follow written or verbal instruction
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience as a labourer or pre-apprenticeship training
C level ticket or equivalent experience
WHMIS training an asset
Shift hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to 11:30pm Monday to Friday; however alternative shifts may also be offered.
